I bought a 5.1 surround sound system off the net and it just arrived today. When i hooked it up to my dvd/vhs system it worked except only 2 out if 3 of the channels work (center,front, rear)
so basically if front and rear were workin, center was not and so on
I checked all the speakers and it isnt them, I think its probably my connection. Im using standard audio cables that came with the package.
Could someone please tell me what i may be doing wrong.

Do i have to set my dvd player to dolby digital or something... someone plz reply soon |

yes you need to go to your menu and activate your optical or coaxal digital out you cannot get dobly digital or dts from rca left and right cable. |
