Hi.

I just got the Dish 811 HD receiver.
I have a NEC LT158 LCD projector. It has DVI-I input only. (No RGB) The 811 is DVI-D output. I am using a DVI-D single link cable.

My problem is the LT158 does not show the whole picture even on 420p. Because it is DVI-D I cannot change any settings. All I can do is slide the picture around. It was kinda funny I was watching soccer where the score was on the left so i slid the picture to the left so I could see the score, then I watched hockey where the score was on the right so I slid the picture over to the right. The LT158 supports 420p, 720p, 1080i. I assume that it must be through a DVI-A signal which it supports.

Any suggestions? Should I get a DVI-D dual link cable, would that help? Or go with a component to DVI-A converter cable?

Thanks,
Zed
