Do HD shows on ABC, CBS, NBC, etc broadcast in dolby digital or is it just regular stereo? |

I'm getting my HD channels through comcast basic. If I just hood up my tv to m receiver through optical connection, will I be able to get 5.1 sound or do i need a cable box? |

No cable box is necessary, providing your TV can relay the 5.1 signal to the Tv. |

Paul's advice is perfectly understandable. If the tv will pass a 5.1 signal after it receives it, the receiver should play the transfer as 5.1. What's so hard to understand about that or do you have a not so hidden agenda of Paul-bashing? Whose the real fool? No need to respond. The answer is readily apparent. The MOFO has spoken. |
