I have a Kenwood Receiver with (2)Optical audio inputs and (1) Digital Coax.
My DVD only has (1) Digital Coax Output
and my
Cable box only has (1) Digital Coax Output.
How can I hook both units up to the receiver?

You can buy digital audio switchers, they aren't cheap. Unless you've got an expensive player, it might be cheaper to buy a new player with TOSLink.

Bob,
You can also call your cable company and ask them to exchange your box for one that has an optical out. They may, or may not have one, but they'll exchange it for free if they do.

If your receiver is new, you could exchange it for one that 'at least' has the bare number of inputs needed.
