Hi, I'm pretty sure it can't be done, but I'd like to know if it can.

I have an Onkyo TX-SR701 (it rules, I don't think Onkyo gets enough cred), is there any way I could isolate the rear channels (without unplugging my other speakers and putting it into all channel mode) to play music through?

This is just for testing purposes.

Nope..

You could always buy another pair of speakers and connect them to speaker B.
