Hello I am new here, I am looking at HDTV's and want to buy very shortly. I dont want to spend a lot I have narrowed it down to JVC 48' ($1,300 CAD)or Panasonic 47'($1,350 CAD). I will be able to get a 10% discount on the Panasonic with student id card at the one place by the way which would save me just over $150. I am also going to see if I can get a bit of a better deal but those were quoted at bottom price already.

Any suggestions even on other sets that I have not mentioned recommendations that would be a similar price point would be very appreciated. I have been researching HDTV's and know way more then I did before, my primary use will probably be next gen video games as I want to play Xbox 360 in HD.

A local store The Power Center, thats where the Panasonic is... I am going to go to Krazy Krazy (another local store) and check out what they have also. |
