The people who don't agree with me want to insult more than provide any kind of convincing defense, much less provide any kind of sensible reasoning.
Someone had even resorted to childish impersonation.
Another here complains that he can no longer read the complaints of the people he bilked. That shows something that people must understand about white van speaker sellers: they're not concered about trying to satisfy their customers but only to take their money and leave them with something not worthwhile and misrepresented.
As for complaints of this product, just do a little Google search or browse around the main forum page on eCoustics:

Well, a good piece of advice is to stay away from any speaker that uses the word "digital" in their brand or words like "digital ready."
That word has been used to death by marketing in order to convey a sense of quality towards the customers, even if they don't exist.
And, "Digital Pro Audio" is a white van speaker anyways. As usual, my advice is to stay away from them. They aren't pro audio grade equipment, contrary to the name. - Reinhart |

I live close to Montreal and a black Cadillac Escalade used to follow me for about 5 minutes when I decided to stop my car in a parking. They told me that they have some speakers to sell me. They show me a receipt with the speakers information on it. It was 2500$ CAD for each speakers (TR-2810). They ask me how much I was ready to pay for them. I gave them 500$ for each (total of 1000$ CAD). I thought I was doing a HELL of a deal. So when I came back to my home I opened them just to see if they were ok and they were. So I put the speakers on eBay for 1500$/pair. One week later, someone bought them. The day after I shipped the speaker to him (in the US). The same day I received an email from the buyer in wich he told me that I'm a SCAM artist of the worst kind. So I looked on google for scam and TR-2810 and I found this forum.
End of the story: The transaction was made through PayPal and the buyer opened a dispute to be refund because he was saying that the speakers collapsed when he opened the box. I'm sure it was just a way to get his money back. Anyway, after 30 days of deliberation, PayPal rejects his claim. |

ya'll scammers need to be careful or packing. last month where i'm from a white van go their tires shot out and the side of the van shot up. people are serious about their money. i also heard theirs a anti white van campaign in several cities where people plan to shoot on site. |

An example of why one should avoid white van merchants. Do they care about "customer satisfaction?" The quotes from many self-admitted "salesmen," who post here, such as "GOOMBA!" should be an obvious indicator.
As for having "NOTHING better to do than complain on a gad damn FORUM," posting on forums do not take up very much time, so I still can go out and do the things I like in addition to posting.

I will reply to any post that is directed towards me.
As for contributions, maybe you should read a little bit more. The basic point: don't buy from white van merchants. That little point is the whole point: my elaboration clarifies exactly why.

It's hard to be a loser if you've got a great career in A/V production. And, because of my experience in this field, I am incapable of being taken by white van deals. Experience in this field allows me to see past the pitch and observe just how worthless the white van speakers are. Plus, if you have any common sense, you wouldn't fall for it to begin with.
Those are the answers to your question.
If you feel that it's unacceptable, then that's your problem because this is the truth and that's all I have to offer you as a reply. - Reinhart

I bought a pair of Digital Reaserch speakers for $200 from this white van man and i was very pleased with what I had boughten when i got them home and hooked them up.
So what im really whant to know does any body know what they are really worth.

I was going to my bank today to cash my paycheck.
I was geting out of my car when this guy said "dude do you like music". Well to make a long story short he gave me the same old story as everyone else. He told me how he only makes $10 an hour. So i felt bad and gave him 20% of the price on the box. Dogg digital is the brand name i cant find any info on them are they the same as digital research? please help ! |

i was on the way out of the bank and I see this guy pointing at me saying if i wanted this great deal on some speakers cus they were over stocked in there van, and if they were to bring these back there boss would keep them for his self.
so he asked me how much i was willing to spend and i said a 50 a speaker and the guy said that they were worth over 1000 piece so i gave the gut 200 and got 2 Digital reseach 3 way loud speakers, I thought that the name was skettchy but im so glad i bought them cuz they sound so great with my entertainment center, and I hope to hear back that you might have got a great deal like I did. |

I find that claim highly dubious.
If you can, try out a set of JBL. That may change your opinion.
As for being worth $1000, I don't think so. As for paying $200, you could've scored REAL speakers from a decent brand like Polk or JBL at a Best Buy. - Reinhart |

As for what your Digital Research speakers are worth, you spent too much. They are worth no more than about $80-$100 a pair, tops.
