Hi all

I really like this system but this problem has been making me crazy!
While watching Lord of the Rings trilogy my all my speakers stop
except the front right and left channels. I need to shut the DVD
player down entirely and restart it to have it play from all 5.1
channels.

Is there a setting I'm not initializing? Is this a common issue?

Your thoughts and advice are appreciated.

Regards,

Mac

Common issue, not sure about that Scott, what AVR are you running and the name of all the loudspeakers including the sub bass.

I have the same film and never experienced anything this q-u-e-e-r, that is strange?

Based on what you said above, it sounds like you might need to replace your DVD player.
