I am setting up a Home Theater System and I have the following equipment: Philips DVD (DVP5500S) Player with 5.1 Channel output; a Luxeon LogicFox V5.1 with built-in Amplifier.

I made all the cable connections carefully but I cannot get both the Surround Speaker and the Center Speaker to play simultaneously. In other words, I can only get either the Surround Speaker to work properly or the Center Speaker to work correctly but not both! What is more problematic is that I can get the surround speaker to work if the cable at the other end is connected to the DVD Player’s Center output port!

Where might the problem be? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for your help!

By Surround Speaker, I mean the Subwoofer.
