I have the Sony DDW660 HTIB and have it connected to my Dish Network DVR 942. Whenever a show is transmitted in PCM I find setting the volume at 40 (out of 70 max) is loud enough. However, whenever the program is in Dolby Digital, I have to crank up the volume to 60+ to be able to hear it at an equivalent level to PCM at 40. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, were you able to fix it? |

I hanvt fixed that with myself yet, i got the 670, and when I play games on my ps2, 40 is fine, but movies on the ps2 and you need it at 55-64, you can go higher but you get static I find, not noticable though. Best fix is to adjust the levels, and turn up the surround, and sub, and center to about +4, I got mine at -2 right now cause I get static for some reason when I turn it up 63+ |
