I want to buy a receiver to power about 4 or 5 pairs of speaker throughout my house using a speaker selector. Can I buy a surround sound receiver and just hook the speaker selector up to one of the speaker inputs on that. Or do I have to just buy a stereo receiver and hook the speaker selector to the "A" hookups. I am looking to spend up to $300 for this receiver so I would appreciate any advice or recommendation. THanks for helpin a newbie.
