I have Sony KDF-50WE655 TV with 7 video settings. I have Video 5 set with HDTV cable box. I have Video 6 set with DVD/VHS recorder so I can record higher number channels, not just basic cable. (The cable installer told me I would not be able to record the higher number channels, just basic cable. I didn't know why so I played around and got it to work). I have Video 3 set to record and watch VHS tapes. I have TV setting to watch basic cable and also this is for use with PIP mode. My question is will this screw up my TV in any way using all these settings? I have cable split to TV and then to DVD player.
