hey, i want to hook up my audigy 2 zx notebook sound card to my reciever. The only plug on the sound card is a 1/8" mini plug. A couple questions concerning quality:
1. I want to run a pair of these from my tv to my sound card and video card.

Will i need a good quality mini plug to rca wires ? Should it be gold plated ?
2. Say i get some cheap mini to rca plugs from the dollar store, will there be a degrade in sound quality ?
