Hello- I hope you guys can help me! I have just bought, and set up a Onkyo HT-R8230 home theater system, but I can not get it to do DTS. The only thing i get is Prologic II. I am using a monster cable digital coax cabel from my DVD to the receiver. Does anyone know what my problem may be? Im lost! Thanks |

Josh, You need to go into the DVD player setup menu and activate DTS and 5.1. Plus, you need to verify that your DVD souce is recorded in DTS. In other words, if the source is recorded in standard DD5.1, it will not output in DTS format. |
