I have a RCA RT2360 theater system and regardless of what I do, the thing won't do DTS or Digital. It will only do Prologic or stereo. I put in Attack of the Clones, selected 5.1, and tried both optical and digital, nothing. The strange thing is, when the DVD is showing the piracy warning, the 2360 shows digital. When the menu comes up, it switches to Prologic. The DVD is also an RCA and has optical, digital, and component. I've read the manual for both, but apparently I'm missing someting. Can anyone help? |

I've discovered that the problem is with my RCA DVD player (it's RC2540P). I connected my PS2 to the RT2360 and it works great. Any idea why the DVD player (despite having both coax and optical) won't stay in DD? |

You probably need to go into the DVD player's audio setup menu and enable the DD and DTS output. |
