I am looking into Sony Dream System DAV-C450 vs Kenwood HTB-205 + separate dvd player

Is is better to go for a component based A/V system?
For the sake of simplicity is it better to have an integrated Sony system?

Any input from existing users of the above two system is appreciated.

I just bought the Kenwood HTB-205 and it sounds great. I live in an apartment so I I can crank it too loud, Also the feature on the receiver are great, such as the auto detect signal, and the fact that it remember your last settings for each input. (i.e. Stadium setting for Video 1, and Jazz setting for Video 2) The only draw back is a a passive sub, but all in all a great system for $249 at Circut City.
