I have a 885 AVR Devon, four 85i Polk in-ceiling speakers, and Polk Center speaker. I just installed my speakers and the front ones work fine. But the two surround speakers are not working. I am sure the connections are fine. What could be the problem? |

When I did the auto setup, the speaker tone could only be heard in the front and center speakers. No tone from the surrounds. Please help. |

Does that receiver have a manual mode for checking and setting speaker levels? If so, try that. If no change, try switching speakers to different terminals. |

Thanks for the quick response. Do you mean switch the speakers to the "back surround terminals" or switch the speakers to the front speaker terminals to see if they play as front speakers? I assume that if they don't play in the front speaker terminals, I have a speaker or connection problem? |
