Here's my setup which works fine except for the
playback of DVD recordings.

Cable from wall into Sony VCR
Lineout y-r-w cable to RCA Home Theatre VCR IN

SONY TV y-b-r Monster cable from Video 4 to
SONY DVD Recorder Video Out, Video 2 yellow video cable to RCA Home Theatre TV OUT

SONY DVD Recorder Digital Out Coax cable to
RCA Home Theatre Coax cable input

The TV is controlled thru the VCR. The DVD is
apparently either not recording or not playing
back with this setup.

RCA Home Theatre works great.

What's missing???
