I've recently bought the two components above and am thoroughly impressed with the set-up; until I accidentally changed a setting in the options menu on the DVD-R (and can not remember what I've changed). I now can hear no sound at all through the amp when a dvd is playing, but I can see the picture on the TV. The amp is working, because I've tried playing a CD through it (from a seperate CD player) and all is well. I know that sound is capable of being emitted from the DVD player because it plays through the in-built TV speakers. I'm using optical cable to link both the DVD-R & the CD. The amp is looking at the right digital input settings, ie OP2 for the DVD-R. Can anyone help me out and tell me what I might have done wrong and how I get sound though my amp again?!
