Hi there, I'm really hoping someone can help with my issue. I have a TV, VCR, Cable box, DVD recorder with HDD and a surround sound amp/receiver. I want to connect them all up so that:
I can watch cable while recording to a VCR or DVD
I can watch a DVD while recording cable to a VCR

I'd like it if possible to have all the items connected to the surround sound amp, but main ones I really want are DVD & Cable. Can anyone advise. Diagrams would be really useful / or tell me what goes in which socket and by what connector!!

Your owner manuals will cover all of that. There are diagrams on other threads. You might want to search those out.
