I have an AKAI 55" projection HDTV (w/built in HD tuner). I have a DENON 1910 dvd player. Both have dvi inputs. I bought the proper (I think) cable from pacific digital cable. When I use component hook up, it is very good. When I use the dvi hookup it is always bright red picture and the picture is intermittent crystal clear (albeit red) and then pure red snow--back and forth on about a 5 second interval. ANY THOUGHTS ON WHERE TO BEGIN TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM?

Begin with your owners manual......

For example, you might need to turn a switch in the back of the TV to activate the DVI.
