is it worth it?? i kept getting information that "in-game" in PS2 doesn't support this surround sound (5.1) only the cg part at the beginning.
however taking into account "dolby pro logic II" there are lots of recent game that support this, ie "Shadow hearts2, Star Ocean: till the end of time" - i love RPG game.
so all you guys out there who are savvy about this, please give me some input.
if it's really worth it what receiver will you recommend? i'm thinking of logitech z680 or creative inspire 5700 |

The PS2 does not do proper DD 5.1 surround sound. As you said, only Pro Logic II, which is like 5 channel stereo. Left channel comes out of both front and rear left, right out of the front and rear right. |

a , actually pro logic comes through with full spectrum left and right and limited monouaral for the surrounds with the center channel recorded in or out of phase I think, but basically the surrounds serve as just limited effect separate from the fronts. |
