I connected the optical cable from my DVD player to the receiver. I have unclear sound with noise,the noise it can damage the speakers, but after(15 min) the sound start to be clear. what the problem |

Check the setup menu in your DVD player. You may have to set digital out to yes. Also look at dolby digital out choices. |

Also check set up of receiver and make certain it is compatible with DVD output. |

are you using the cable for surround? because if so then maybe there is some faulty speaker settings or you could try another cable to see if thats the problem. if neither of those work, then it could be a problem with the processor inside the reciever. |
