I just purchased a BOSE Acoustimass 600 system off of Ebay. I recieved the package today and it looks great. I have a question about te subwoofer I am hoping someone can help me with. No where on the subwoofer is there any mention of AC power. How does this thing work? Does it get power from the receiver?

yes...it is a passive "subwoofer" (if you can even call it that) that draws power off of your reciever and/or amp.

Thanks for the reply. Bought the speakers at a great price. I havent read anything good about them since. Thats my luck. Oh well, I'll give them a try and be my judge of quality.

you won't read anything good about them on this or any other audiophile message board. truth is... they blow. Take it from someone that used to have the acoustimass
