I just purchased a BOSE Acoustimass 600 system off of Ebay. I recieved the package today and it looks great. I have a question about te subwoofer I am hoping someone can help me with. No where on the subwoofer is there any mention of AC power. How does this thing work? Does it get power from the receiver? |

yes...it is a passive "subwoofer" (if you can even call it that) that draws power off of your reciever and/or amp. |

Thanks for the reply. Bought the speakers at a great price. I havent read anything good about them since. Thats my luck. Oh well, I'll give them a try and be my judge of quality. |

you won't read anything good about them on this or any other audiophile message board. truth is... they blow. Take it from someone that used to have the acoustimass |
