Ok, here's the story. I picked up a Pioneer VSX-512S system, of all places, the trash. I have a standard Fisher tuner with everything hooked up to it, so I figured I would see if this Pioneer works.
I just have one question.....the speaker hook-up. I'm assuming the little speakers would be hooked up to "rear", and the big monster speakers would be the "front". I figure one of you gurus of the stereo world could answer this one. The center speaker was a no brainer. I hooked everything up, but there seems to be some static in the speakers in the Dolby modes. Going to check them all, and I figure I might have to replace some speakers. Thanks in advance for the help. If anything, I picked up some decent cabinets to put new speakers in for my Fisher, or maybe pick up just a dolby tuner. |
