I just purchased a pioneer elite 54tx A/V amp. I dont have any speakers yet... I am hoping you guys might suggest some that would compliment the amp.
I am looking for book shelf surrounds, maybe tower fronts. I am interested in 5.1 perhaps 6/7.1 but I am not convinced that it would be worth it.

I have a M&K 12" Power Sub (THX certified) to incorporate.

Anyone offer some suggestions? Let say for the speakers I am willing to spend about 1000.00 (plus a little if the it will make a differnce).

These are packages and should cost less without the sub.

The key is to listen to them yourself to make a better judgement. We could recommend all we want, but the ultimate decision is for whatever speakers you take home and enjoy.
