I recently purchased a Sony 60 inch (KDF-60XS955) for my basement, and I’m in the process of researching receivers, speakers, and DVD players to complete my home theatre system. I plan to use my system for Movies (60%), and Music (40%). I’d like to keep my budget between $1000 and $1500. So far, I know to keep away from Bose and that’s about it. I was in Best Buy the other day and liked the JBL SCS300.7 and the Pioneer VSX9100TX. Does anyone have an opinion they can share about this set-up or other potential set-ups for my budget? Thank you.
