I am hooking up a Cablevision digital Cable box to an RCA tv that in turn is hooked up to a yamaha receiver with a subwoofe.

The problem I am having is that I get a loud hum in the subwoofer when the cable box is hooked up. As soon as I disconnect the cable box from the tv, the system is very quiet.

Can anyone recommend a way to fix this problem?
