Hey everyone. I've been reading through the threads for the past couple of days, and still need some help/info. I rec'd first HT system today and need to know the best (highest quality) way to set it up. I would like to get DD out of everything, digital cable, xbox, dvd's etc. Here is the list of my components, any help would be awesome, thanks guys.
Panasonic ct-27d31e TV
Panasonic sc-ht900 HT IN A BOX
Panasonic HI-FI VCR
Sientific Atlanta Explorer 3250 DIGITAL CABLE BOX
(cox)
XBOX

The easiest way is to run everything through the receiver. For the Xbox you'll have to get the Monster cable with the optical cable sold separately to get the surround sound and use all the same video connection either composite or s-video if your receiver has s-video switching. The just run a video cable to the TV from the receiver. |
