I am planning to buy two Axiom M80ti as L/R front channel speakers, one Axiom VP150 as my center channel, two M60ti speakers for my L/R surround speakers, and a subwoofer that has 500 to 600 watts of output capacity (I'm undecided yet on which subwoofer to buy). Obviously, all of the above will make-up a 5.1 system. I would like to have the flexibility/potential to upgrade to a 7.1 system in 1-1/2 to 2 years from now.
Can anyone give me several recommendations on what brand and model # of A/V receiver to buy? Note: The Axiom M80ti is rated at 400 watts with 4 ohm impedance, VP150 is also at 400 watts with 4 ohm impedance, and M60ti is also at 250 watts with 8 ohm impedance. |
