just wanted some opinions on these 2 receivers. New to home theater both have great options. I know denon has a good reputation but the onkyo seems to have a few more options and more power.Looking to spend less than $600. THanks

Based on what you said, it sounds like the onkyo is the way to go. Im a Yamaha fan myself. There is no 'one' best receiver though. You have to go with looks best to you.
