Hey all, I am somewhat of a newbie to this forum, however I have a fairly important question that i need to ask. I have the klipsch promedia 5.1 ultra, which are analog speaks. I am purchasing a laptop for college (dell 9200) and have also purchased the aforementioned creative audigy 2 zs notebook. I am looking to setup in my dorm room and want to play my mp3's and everything in surround. Are there dacs in this sound card itself that can get it done, without the use of dvd software? Or would it be a good idea to pick up something like the ddts-100 digital decoder to go with it? I am also going to want to use these speaks for my ps2 and the like so the ddts might be a good idea anyways, however I am very curious as to anyone who may have some input for me. Thanks,
Mike
