I'm having a problem which is really stumping me.

I have a Sony 400 Disc DVD jukebox with optical and coax outputs.

I also have an onkyo integra receiver with dolby digital 5.1 sound decoding.

The Problem is the onkyo is taking the PCM surround sound stream instead of the dolby digital 5.1 stream from the digital inputs, no matter what I do.

The DVD player does not seem to have any way to turn off the PCM output or choose DD5.1 only. As a result, I only get plain old PCM Surround Sound instead of 5.1

I can plugin my other dvd players and get 5.1 sound, but not the 400-disc Sony Jukebox DVD player.

Any ideas?
