hey guys, i was buying a speaker system for my pc/dvd playback, im a gamer and heavy music listener and part recorder, speakers matter to me

there was 4.1 klipsch promedia speakers going on ebay for like 140, and i was thinking can i get 2 2.1 klipsch setup's then splice the subwoofer wire to go ot 2??
or just how exactly would i go upon this, and if that REALLY isnt a good idea(which i really want)
whats some more speaker systems from 50-150?
