What is the best settings for my amp?

I keep reading to bump the LFE up to +9

What is the LFE and where do I find it?

Also I'm not sure if I like DTS better or not. I had on Gladiator and it seemed to sound better in Dolby Digital. Am I an idiot? What am I missing

The LFE is for controlling the subwoofer. If you have a powered subwoofer connected to your system, it should be connected to this jack.

For more information on how to calibrate your system...READ your manual! The setup will be rudimentary at best, but it will guide you through the set-up process. Do that first, then start asking questions on things that may have not been covered by your manual.
