I'm new to HT and have a problem I hope someone here can help me with. I'm using an infocus 4805 projector and the top and bottom of the picture has a few inches cut off. I know this by symbol, words, etc at the menu of a DVD are not completly visible. Is it the projector or the DVD player causing this. How can it be fixed?

Check the widescreen settings on both the DVD player and the projector. One of them will be set wrong. Set them both to your pref'.. probably the widescreen setting (will show up under the 'TV type' on the DVD player and 'screen type' on the projector.) Hope this helps.
