I have a logitech Z-680 5.1 speaker system I'm trying to hook to my tv.

Please use layman's terms as I am extreamly new to the home entertainment community.

The speakers have a control center (is that the same as a reciver?) which allows optical, coaxial or three analog connections (one for front, one for rear, one for center/sub). The back of my tv has one audio-out which is RCA female.

I can't seem to get all five speakers (two front, two back, one center) to all work at the same time. Any suggestions on how to hook up a 5.1 system to a tv/comcast cable box/rf modulator box?

If I need to buy some special adapter or cable I will, I just don't know what to buy. Any help is very appreciated. Thanks.
