I have a koss surround system and I have a comcast cable hd box. I used an optical wire from the box to the receiver and when I watch a tv program the sound has a delay out of the speakers (about 2 sec) I see the talking but the words are delayed. Any help would be great

I'm not surprised to hear that. Last year I bought a Koss KS4190 surround system with built-in DVD player for my bedroom because it had 6.1 DTS decoder and was the cheapest at Best Buy. The sound was OK when using the built-in DVD player but when I play the DVDs on an external player connected to the Koss via coaxial input, the audio was about 2 secs behind the video. First, I thought the problem was from the external DVD player. But after trying with 3 other players made by Sony, Panasonic and JVC, I still got the same problem. I also tried the optical input with no success. I then gave it away and bought another brand.
