I am having a bit of trouble calibrating the black level with the Avia disk. I can never get the gray bars to show up even if I turn up the brightness all the way. Is there something I am missing or is this an issue with this model?

from whay i know, on Video essentials, the man say that some systems don`t show that bar for some reason... but i can`t remember why, is the DVD player reason or TV, nto sure.... but nothing big

maybe someone with more knowlogue can help me here.
