After doing a lot of research on line and in some stores I am trying to decide between the Pioneer 1014 TX-K and the Kenwood 8070. This system will primarily be for movie watching.
Does anybody have a preference for one over the other or feel strongly. Thank you for the knowledge everybody brings to the board.
Happy Holidays

KC

I'm a Kenwood fan so I'm biased.
But I believe they make the better consumer/mass market receivers. I have experience with that particular model and I love it.
The Pioneer receivers I like is in the Elite line, if not, I'd stick to the Kenwood.

cheers
