Have a few questions the tv i purchased a week ago has s-video,component,Y PB PR,HDMI connections on the rear of the TV but has no optical output how would i connect my HT to this and achive Surround sound in 5.1?
would this be dependand on the HD reciver i get from either the cable company or satellite?

yes, it is dependent on the hd receiver. You can only use the analog output(red and white) of your TV to plug into your HT. |
