Forgive me if this is a real lame question but I am totally new to HT. I am researching getting a HT set-up and have noticed some AV amps have a sub woofer speaker connection and some don't.
Where do you connect the sub if there is no sub woofer connection?

It can't be a 5.1 or 6.1 without the sub output

Thanks. I just figured it out. The subs are active so they only need a feed from the output as opposed to a speaker output. I did say it was a dumb question.
