I am new to HT and am building my first system. I am now looking for a speaker package. Our living room is fairly modern and minimalist so I am looking for small wall mountable speakers and a good sub. My budget is 400Euros (~$500). Any suggestions on where to start would be appreciated.

I am think of the Cambridge Audio 540R receiver and probably a Philips DVD (although that's not decided yet).
