I have been looking at prices of 14 gauge OFC speaker wire and am confused about how the mark the speaker wire.

When they say 100' of 14 gauge OFC wire do they mean it will run 100 feet or will it run 50 feet only?

Basically do they count it as 50 feet per wire (positive and negative) or 100 feet of (positive and negative) combined?

Also is partsexpress.com SoundKing wire about the best deal I will find on OFC wire?

If you're buying from Parts Express and you order a 100ft roll of wire you get 100ft of both leads; and yes, the Soundking is a spankin' good deal...although I'd buy at least 12 gauge unless you've got moderately short runs.

Bryan...check Home Depot, too...
