Guru's,
I have a five year old Lifestyle 8.

The speakers are quite good so I am planning to get a Pioneer D912 reciver and ditch the Bose reciver. But now I am confused about how to make the connection. Currently there is a special wiring(typical Bose) from Bose receiver to the power sub. Any ideas how I can make the best use of my speakers and/or Sub. Is there any way out??????????????????

Thanks

Replacing the Bose receiver will not improve anything in your system. You have to replace the speakers! But if you must, then go with what you have.

The wiring is nothing special, you can strip the ends and connect them to the receiver. Just watch out for polarity, but it probably wouldn't matter if they are in or out of phase.
