I am having digital audio problems with both the SA3250HD and the SA8000HD but NOT with the SA3100HD.

I connected all of the these boxes up to my surround sound system (which has a Dolby Digital/DTS decoder).

The sound is perfect on the SA3100HD but when I switch to the SA3250HD or SA8000HD the sound is distorted (the sound comes through and I get a Dolby signal but the sound is very distorted).

I spoke to Scientific Atlanta and they said there is no difference in the type of digital audio output from the 3 boxes. They said that Time Warner (I have TimeWarner in NYC) probably put different software on the boxes and it could be interfering with the sound somehow.

Has anyone else had this problem?
