I guess my surround speakers (Onkyo SKM-520S & SKB-520) were designed to lay on flat ground or to hang on the wall. There is NO place to put a screw to fasten it to somewhere firmly but there is one hole on the back which is typical for hanging something on the wall. I want to know if somebody have tried just putting a nail or hook on the wall and hang the surround speaker there. How the sound will be afectted by this kind of palcement. The speaker has 130W each. How the viberration will be if the volume is high? I know I can test this but you know I don't want to damage my wall before knowing the actual results. What kind of kit I will need to hang the speakers? Will ordinary nail or hook for hanging paintings do the work? Thanks.

You might want to use screws and find a stud in the wall to attach it to. I'm sure someone here will shed more light.

Improper attahcment may cause damage to the wall or the speaker.
