I am setting up my theater and am anxious about which receiver/speaker combo to go with. I like the Yamaha HTR-5790 but what 7.1 speaker match would you recommend at the $1K range? Also, the Sony 400 Disk DVP-CX985V is what I want but is there a better receiver match?

Check out the Paradigm line.
Are you anywhere near any audio shops? We can recommend all we want but you have to listen and pick which ones you like.
