I have a sony HT-DDW740 reciever with 5.1 setup using infinity TSS-750 speakers. I have noticed a "smaller" sound lately (while watching SW Trilogy). The THX setup on the discs revealed that the sound from the rear speakers is not separate...seems to be sound emanating from the left when it should be only the right. Wiring appears correct. It should be noted that this doesn't seem to be the case with DTS DVD's. They sound spectacular. ALso of note I am using Xbox as DVD player with monster cables. ANy ideas.

thanks

Do you get these problems on other discs? If not, it's the disc.

Check the set-up of the DVD player regarding audio outputs. I'm stumped:-(
