I am strongly considering the purchase of Polk's RM6900 speaker system, because the aesthetic value of my home theater components is VERY important to my wife. I need a reciever that comes in a silver/titanium finish, so I am looking at the Sony STR-DA2000ES. Any thoughts on this reciever or any other reciever suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I'm in the same boat your in. HT components, TV, and speakers MUST be in some form of silver/titanium to blend in with the rest of the decor. I'm planning on getting the Yamaha HTR-5750 receiver and Harman Kardon HKTS14 surrounds (~$500) for my 5.1 setup. The Sony ES rx's seem to be a nice piece of equipment. I just found the Polk RM6900 in Crutchfield catalog last nite and I like the way they look. Might be changing my mind, but it's a bit pricey. Has anyone heard them?
