I am strongly considering the purchase of Polk's RM6900 speaker system, because the aesthetic value of my home theater components is VERY important to my wife. I need a reciever that comes in a silver/titanium finish, so I am looking at the Sony STR-DA2000ES. Any thoughts on this reciever or any other reciever suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

I'm in the same boat your in. HT components, TV, and speakers MUST be in some form of silver/titanium to blend in with the rest of the decor. I'm planning on getting the Yamaha HTR-5750 receiver and Harman Kardon HKTS14 surrounds (~$500) for my 5.1 setup. The Sony ES rx's seem to be a nice piece of equipment. I just found the Polk RM6900 in Crutchfield catalog last nite and I like the way they look. Might be changing my mind, but it's a bit pricey. Has anyone heard them? |
